LS-1 Corvettes (post 2002 because then they come with the LS-6 style intake manifold) run in the mid 13's completely stock with an automatic. Intake exhaust and header (no cam) is going to put the vette to about 400 wheel horsepower, in the area of a very high 12 second quarter pass.
I have personally watched a 2005 SS/SC with Stage 2 and full exhaust beat a modded 2000 F-body (airbox lid, drop in filter, headers, and gear) with an automatic. I know for a fact the F-Body was trying because I was in my thunderbird and the 3 of us were friends. This was a 60 to 120 mph run. SS/SC won.

thats not the video i saw but that is a nice video. but still it was a vette. but i will just race my frinds dads when he gets it out its a stick but has intake and full exuast. but no tune. now speaking of your tune. what is it? hp? did it make a differnce over the gm tune?
hp tuners yea get em! My friend Reese works for Victory Chevrolet and he gave me everything i needed for free.. lol said he had no use for it. dont tune it urself, that **** is confusing
yah i will take it to this guy i know that tunes with aem and all that he does lots of hondas and supras and has done some supras that have made over 900 hp. so i guess he would know lol. and i am sorry for calling you a ******* man. i was in one of them moods.
street racing, especially from a roll is soooo not indicative of what the two will do at the track.. the race could've gone down exactly the way he claims and at the track the vette runs a 12.8 to his 14.0.. been there a million times.. RT, traction, swerving, alot of variables that can't be accounted for w/o a clock on it.. How many times have you seen a quick car run a full second off at the track and you KNOW something got funky, whether it's his 60' or a missed gear, hitting limiter, etc..
Threads like this make it hard not to believe in evolution (the theory not the Mitsu). With all the crap everyone's slinging around, you can't say that we didn't evolve from poo-throwing monkeys.......
