OP you sure your car is totally untuned? No stage pcm or maybe a tune before you got it? Did you get the car already modded or did you do all the modding yourself? Seems kinda silly to do the upgrades without even a canned stage tune.

i find it funny how some people, even having video evidence, never believe what the outcome of a race was. i myself know what ls1's are capable of. ive owned 2 and also an ls2. so yea, im very familiar with the ls motors. i admit i didnt think i was gonna win any of the races we did but the proof is in the vids.

it came with the 60's and 2.8. the previous owner had someone tune it but whoever did it didnt know wtf they were doing. my tuner checked everything and he said my fuel trims were way off and a bunch of other crap was wrong too. prior to my tuner throwing his file in, my car would idle rough as hell with the original owners tune. now it idles perfect but it needs to be fully tuned. like i said, he only threw in a tune that would help me pass inspection really quick so all he did was correct the fuel trims and turned off my cel due to not having a cat. now i gotta fix an exhaust leak before he can start tuning.

If you have owned 2 ls1's and a ls2 you would know first hand that the car you raced was not an ls1.

You probably have a baseline tune which is about like a stage pcm tune, maybe even better even though it was a quick fix for you. What I was saying was it would probably not run up to par without one with the stock pcm is why I was wondering. And I have witnessed races like this it isn't unbelievable damn it is the street not at a track could be a driver error even in a auto.

I'm not saying I dont believe that you won. Obviously you didnt. I am just trying to make sense of why this Camaro, that should have walked you, didn't walk you, at least from a dig.

You = fail. This is what we call a baseline tune. It may not be fully tuned, but it is a tune none the less.
