ive always wondered what guys with evos and stuff think when they get beat by a cobalt. lol. i beat a guy in his roush stage 2 stang. it was a 2007 and he even had an intake. i was stock. hahaaa. (roush stage 2 is just a mustang gt with body kit and independant rear suspension)

 

my friend kyle has a 09si with full exhaust, gutted from rear seats back, intake, and flashpro he ran the evo and won by same amount. i wonder what the evo driver was thinking than!

 

theres a rsx that would tear up a lot of evos and srt4's around that was still n/a. dunno what he had... lol. ive never raced him but if i got beat by one id be shitting some bricks.

 

alright. people put evo's and sti's on wayyyy too high a pedastal. stock for stock they make very similar numbers to cobalts (ss/tc that is) and any modded cobalt will easily beat a stock evo or sti. I dont see what the big deal is. Some cobalts are like ZOMG WTF I BEAT AN EVO/STI. but its no huge suprise cobalts are making similar are sometimes even more power and weigh less. so the cobalt should win.

on a high reading dyno. usually 220-240 depending on the dyno and temp and whatnot.

 

whats funny? i own an awd car myself so im not ragging on them by any means but ppl think when they beat a stock evo or sti its like ZOMG i cant believe its possible! they arent fast stock. they arent even quick.

 

thats it?? I mean im not talking trash at all my car only dynoed at 212 stock but i really thought they dynoed in the 250-260 range...hmm. I guess i might be able to beat a stock one afterall
