hey, he didnt want to slow down, otherwise i would have loved to go from a dig, 300whp + STI 6spd + AEM EMS launch control = easy 1.6 60ft and flat foot shifting

oh and to make you feel better, when i was dynoing my car, the rear wheels would be spinning twice as fast as the fronts, so that makes my car mostly rwd, so hah, less drivetrain loss and better top end.

so seriously, what are the mods on both your evo and the other one in the video?

i got a buddy with a 9 that has ported and coated manifold, o2 housing, turbo back exhaust, lower intercooler pipe upgraded fmic, and a reflash. best i can do is keep up, damn evo's with their response to mods and their good handling.

 

almost every bolt on possible... Im still too rich(10.8-10.9 afrs), but after I lean it out... somewhere between 380-400whp. Im still on the stock ecu(I also have 2 step launch control), clutch, block, intake mani, throttle body, fmic, injectors, and turbo. As of now, I am at 344hp/351tq.

yea, i tuned a 9 mr a few weeks ago, it had o2 housing, turbo back, k&n filter, and MBC

it made 336whp on california 91 octane. hopefully we will be tuning my friend's 9 soon, i really wanna see what kind of power we can get out of it.

i tune with ecuedit/open ecu. the term "stock ecu" doesnt mean **** with an evo, lol.

there are many times when i consider getting an evo, but then i remember that i only pay $900 a year to insure the WRX and that its almost paid off.

oh well, hopefully in a few months i'll be done with the car, then maybe i can buy myself a nice corolla and enjoy a quite ride with 30-40mpg, honestly, i anticipate that more than completing my plans for the WRX.

 

I agree, Thermodynamics has to do with heat and how it works. You need to know this to do my job. I melt glass in a 200 ton tank. We learn about thermodynamics with on the job training. And it has everything to do with heat

 

$900 a year is good, I pay $600 every 6 months for my car and my wifes 05 corolla.

 

Right now I just have a Walbro, Injen Intake and upper intake pipe, MBC, and turbo-back...feels slow because my last IX was running meth. I want to go back to meth, but my clutch only lasted 1 week with it on the last car, so it will have to wait until spring I guess.

My insurance is $1200 a year for the Evo and my wife's 06 A4...sometimes it's good to be old

I want an evo so bad you have no idea. ever since 2003 i almost bought a regular lancer just cause i couldnt aford an evo. Now that im 23 and make more than enough money every year to aford one and to mod it I aquire a ball and chain by the name of abigail who will have nothing to do with me if i buy one cause she wants us to get an aparment together. Lifes just not fair sometimes i tell you.......

 

At least she didnt make you buy a house(Me=Owned ). Its all good man, make the balt fast and have a nice crib.
