ME vs. SC
Ok so I am over here in Tucson for a while for work and Andrew hooked my car up to his majic laptop. I knew it would help out alot but I wanted to get some action with a respectable car.
The SC I raced has a 2.5 pulley runs E85 and has a big ass throttle body off an LS v-8 and all supporting mods. His tune isn't what he wants but I met him at a meet here in Tucson when I was invited by Andrew. Let me say this now... That SC is f-ing fast. My mods are Trifecta 22psi selectable and a k&n drop in.
1ST race when I was about 6500 rpm my car under boosted and he had me easy. We were neck and neck til that point.
2ND race, he honked off again and jumped out to my front bumper. Then I grabbed 3rd and reeled him in and put him at my back wheel, I think we both grabbed 4th at the sme time and I barely kept him at my door.
Both were from a 40 roll and I started in 2nd. If his was tuned for the throttle body he would have killed me for sure.
This was the first time someone with an actually fast car ran with me. I'm so stoked at this little balt now, I had alot of fun. Thanks again for the tune drew and Rich, let me know when you get tuned and I'll watch your tail lights fade off into the distance on the next pull.
I am not going to consider that one a kill cuz he should have beat me. We will call it a draw until he gets his tune dialed in and opens a can of whoop ass on me and "Sweet Melissa".

He is quick though, I am gonna work on trying to find the root of this underboost issue. I have no boost leaks, and on the way home, the code didn't come back up. The strange thing is that the code arises when I am consistently holding boost.

its really odd, I was holding more boost than I wanted too. I did a Datalog with BYT's base tune, and no underboost code. From what I seen in HP Tuners, you can practically tune it out.
