Mustang Vs. Cobalt
Alright, I raced a 94-98 gen mustang from a dig twice. Out of respect for him I won't post his mods because there are local Balt members on here and he doesn't want anyone knowing what he has.
Cobalt mods:
25psi tune
ZZP DP
First race he gave me a 2 car head start and couldn't stop my pull at all, I had bus lengths on him by the end of 3rd.
Second race we went out of the whole both spinning all the way through 2nd. He had radials and managed to pull a car on me. He had a slow steady pull on me and had about 1 to 1 1/2 cars on me at 90.
Cliffnotes: 2 runs against a Mustang out of a dig, won 1 lost 1.

HAHAHA I always find that funny when people are secretive about there mods. He doesn't have that fast of a car and its not like people race for big money any more either.
Good race though. Do you know if he had a 5.0 in it or 4.6. The 5.0s are dogs in that year so if he kept up with you he had to have had H/C/I on it.

However, nice job!!
Probably a non inter-cooled blown S/C.
I tore up a setup like that when my Z was stock.
I can see the same out come for you with a similar setup.
If he was t/c it would be a different story.
