my 1st race cobalt ss/sc vs civic si

today i raced this ricey civic si. It wasnt even fair. I pulled up on the left side cuz i saw this civic with the rims, euro lights, exhaust, (you could see his exhaust 5in from dragging on the road) and the si badge. I wasnt goin to race him initially since we were in a 35. This guy starts revving his engine . I pulled up to the white line and he starts pulling to get a little distance from me. As the opposite light turned yellow he starts to go, I wait. Green comes and bam outta first i catch up and i'm ahead by a nose. Second, bam full car length ahead. Third, bam car and half ahead, hit fourth a little early and he starts catching up back to third bam i'm gone. By the time i hit fifth gear i was at least 3 cars ahead and once i got to 120 he slowed down. I can't believe he thought he had a chance . That ladies and gentleman was my first unofficial race.

Nope haven't done that. way too many intersections and places for cars to dart out. I like the last stop light out of town headed to the hiway. Now 120 in a 55, yep done that

No 120 in a 35 here either. They'd have put you under the jail if they caught you.

He is getting the 2.9inch pulley, doesn't have it yet. Secondly, I know where he raced, the speed limit is 35 but it could be much higher, not many intersections at all, and its a backroad...sorta.

If you've ever raced before, then where were the police when you needed to be caught? Racing is racing, we've all done it. Whether on the highway, or on a backroad, its all the same racing. So get off his back.

Hey pete, nice kill dude! Nice honda population control! You'll get better when ya do it a little more. Remember to stay careful and keep that sexy SS/SC of yours lookin' good.
