My 2.2 vs 97 Mustang GT

Well I was out with my girl a little bit earlier tonight and her, me, and one of my buddies decide to go up to the local bowling alley just as something to do. As we're leaving later on that night, two guys are standing outside next to a red 97 mustang GT talking. My buddy mind you has a early grand prix, not sure on the year but it's not a 2000 and up I know for a fact.

Anyway, we're about to leave the parking lot and one of the guys next to the mustang comes over and asks my friend if he wants to race. Of coarse my buddy laughs, but as the guy is walking back over, I yell out to him sure, I'll race.

We leave the bowling alley and drive about five-ten minutes until we find a straight enough road that's long. My buddy behind us, me and the mustang line up at about a 45 roll, me with my girl and him with his friend, so we both had a passenger.

(Btw: the random guy riding in the mustang had a video camera so hopefully he got me walking all over his friend's stang in the end )

I only have an intake and magnaflow exhaust engine-wise, but an array of other mods (underglow, system, ect.)

We honk twice and after the second honk we took off. I pulled about a car length and a half on him and held it all the way up to about 90 MPH in which I let off and started braking. I didn't feel like getting a ticket risking going almost 50 over the speed limit. But the climb from 45 up to 90 or so, I held the car length and a half on his GT the entire time, almost with ease.

Just figured I'd share this story with my fellow guys. We ended up coming up to a red light where I was turning left and he was headed straight and he gave me the thumbs up as I drove by
