My first time... KILL! :-D

Okay... I don't street race or anything at all. I have tons of ricers start stuff and it's normally in traffic on the way home. So, to avoid tickets (see, I'm smart), I don't race... period. With that said, here's my first kill!

I was coming home and I hit the interstate near my house. I was going about 78/80 mph (normal speed for me) and I see this NEW silver Mustang GT. I hate those cars... they're so ugly. So I keep my speed and was singing along with Miley Cyrus's "The Climb" and I pass him just like any other car... then I see this silver bullet speed up to get beside me. I look over and it's like a 19/20 yr old with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. He smiles and looks at my passenger door for whatever reason and then punches it... I'm like, "Hm... this should be interesting." I'm doing 85 mph and I shift into 3rd. I am literally catching him in a matter of 1 second and then I start weaving in and out of traffic. Of course, he's following every move I make. I am enjoying this so much that I miss my exit ! So we continue down the interstate and I have the option to pass a car in the lane where the exit ramp ends. I take it He follows and can't make it. I see he doesn't and I hit my brakes and slow down from 120 mph down to about 75 mph. He has the opportunity to go around the car and he doesn't take it. I slow down to 70 mph... then 65 mph... then 60 mph. He FINALLY gets next to me when I'm taking the next exit and he's giving me a "What the hell just happened" look and his girlfriend has her window down smiling and giving the thumbs up.

Yay! Me so happy with my debadged 'balt

Just curious, but are you stock? If so, I'll have to call shenanigans on some aspect of this event... Not trying to be an ass, just saying.

No offense taken; I'm stock with a CAI.

I don't think he was trying then, or he got bottled by traffic... Again, no offense, but conservatively he has a big horsepower and torque advantage over you and nowhere near enough extra weight to offset the advantage. Those things are more than a match for SS/TCs from a roll, so I feel like a (near) stock SS/SC should have gotten slowly walked.

Either way, glad you had fun.

He initiated the whole thing; and as young as he looked, he wanted to go, lol.

I never said I beat him by "cars" or "buses"... I did pull a few feet on him before the weaving began.

Maybe he was an auto, that would explain any early hesitation. I'd assume they come in slushbox form given the average age of their buyers, though I'm not positive.

Thank you! I think the song made me go for it, lol. I've never done stuff like this before... much less @ 85 - 120 mph on the interstate

I don't know squat about those cars. All I know is that we had fun (or at least I did) and I'm taking this as a win

But his face was priceless.

So you raced a car that should have beat you pretty easily all the while weaving in and out of traffic at 120 mph like a ricer then slowing down to 60 on the highway? Is that a pretty good cliff note version?

Hate much?

It was pretty much a straight shot without traffic for about a minute. Then when I passed my exit, it was traffic bound.

Next time, ask a question instead of immediately being an ass, ok? Thanks

Yeah, I hate it when little kids act out their Fast and Furious dreams on a crowded interstate.

I got all the info I need from your story sweetie, so I don't need to ask a question.

You have a stock SS/SC with a CAI/HAI that lets you trap maybe 101 on a good day against a car stock (who knows if it was even modded) that can trap 103-105+ racing from 85 (where the SC starts to lose it's pull).

Then a second after you start catching him (supposedly) you start weaving in and out of traffic (that is so none existant you say that you have to pass some one in an exit lane...). Sounds like a V6 version to me with those little lights in the grill.

Nope, got everything I need; unless you want to start back pedaling now? Please grow up and if your going to race do it when there is no traffic or a big break in traffic. Lord knows how long it took your car to accelerate from 85 to 120 while weaving in traffic.

So I choose to be an "ass" to a *******....
