Funny, and yes a Cobalt could take down a Mustang GT, especially if it was a 2008 GT.

40 hp difference (in favor of the Mustang), with only a .1 sec. advantage for the Mustang at 0-60 yet a .3 sec. advantage to the Cobalt at 1/4 mile. Obviously the Cobalt has a higher trap speed, it would have to, to be making those numbers. Which also means that it is quicker on the top end.
Add to that a driver that an inexperienced, 19 year old kid, and it's pretty easy to see how your SS took him down.
Either way, looking at the numbers it's pretty much a driver's race, with the Cobalt having a slight advantage at higher speeds.
Oh and nice work on the stealth mode, de-badged is the way to go!

That is prolly the worst time I've ever seen on a 05+ Mustang GT. Hell my 04 GT with an auto went 14.5 bone stock.
Sorry but I've drove a 5spd GT to 13.6 and I'm by no menas a pro driver. A GT is a 13sec car all day long with even a decent driver.
A Stock SS/SC doesn't stand a chance against a 2005+ GT from a dig or a roll.

The 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS uses up just 5.8 seconds accelerating to 60 mph, and it goes through the quarter-mile in 14 seconds flat at 103.6 mph. This is a night-and-day improvement over the supercharged Cobalt SS, which couldn't break 7 seconds for 60 mph and ran a 15.2-second quarter at 95.6 mph
Yeah, you lose
Still think she took him down?

I am not going to jump on you and call you a moron right away, but why don't you take a closer look at the numbers you provided. Worst ever road test for a GT and what is this, numbers for a TC.

I may have been "magazine" racing, but at least it's independent and verifiable, as opposed to an anecdotal internet post by some random person.

Wow this has been going for quite some time lol... A lot of people race in and out of traffic...including me and probably the 20+ cars I've raced while having my car...That's a pretty gosh darn high ratio lol... I even remember racing a z28 and a corvett, yeh I got the **** spanked out of me but we were all 3 swerving in and out of traffic... the majority does it...Hence why aint so many people at the "legal races"...every time I go I see maybe 12 entrys...than I go to the fair grounds in tucson with a long stretch and see about 20+ hondas, 2-3 cobalts, a **** load of mustangs so kind of debunks your theories .... yeh were ignorant and could hurt someone, population control id say

Sorry, next time I will borrow a stock version, take it to the track, run it and post the time slips personally. Speaking of which, where are your time slips?

Most magazine tests are jokes and they usually don't even go to a 1/4 mile track to get their results. Instead they use a high dollar G-Tech. In other words the info they give you is worthless.
I don't have any slips from when I drove the 05+ GT mostly because it wasn't mine and I didn't care.
Heres my 10sec slip though
