My GTP vs Modded WRX

this was at lapeer dragway in MI. The weather was not very forgiving that day: 3300ft DA Anyways, just got done with the new build up and wanted to see how it would run. I just showed up and raced with no prep. Best run was 12.7@111mph with a 2.1 60ft. The first two races I was not worried about "winning," more so about getting a decent launch. The last one, I went for the kill.

Nope, Lapeer is definetly a "bang for your buck" track. Not sure on the WRX's mods but I know he was being careful on the launch and the reason it sounds so weird is because the wastegate is open.

My mods consist of 9.4:1 block (non supercharged 3.8), XP cam, ZZP 78mm billet throttle body, 2.8 pulley (12.5 lbs of boost), pacesetter headers and full exhaust, Mototron #65 injectors, E-85, rebuilt trans with 3.29 gearing and hardened input shaft and 4th clutch shaft and tuned with powrtuner.

not giving excuses for anything, rather offering clarification why my 11sec capable car ran mid-high 12s.
