ok ok so def dont race my cobalt, too slow! but we got a black impala SS 2007, automatic ,stock for the most. i;m in boston i was at a stop light, and there was an early eclipse behind me, probly like a 2001 or something. had the huge exhaust can on the back, and that was all i saw, i cudnt tell any other mods, i dont know too muhc about those eclipses. anywho, he heard me peel out a little bit, and he wanted some i guess.. so we're in two lanes, he peeled around me and floored it dodging cars , so i was like ok, just being patient , and catchin up a little bit cuz there was way to many cars to be drivin stupid....

.so we hit the tunnels in boston, and thats like a 45mph , hes bangin like 75 80 im going about 60 around the turns, still waiting for my chance to just let him have it..i passed him real quick outa nowhere . cudnt really go to fast in the tunnel , my tires were really low,and the handling was just bad

i cud feel it... so we exit the tunnel and hop on the pike, and it splits from 1 lane to 2, and hes tail gaitin me in and then splits and floors it around me , and im jus like chillin waiting..so i just pul on the left of him, and i keep neck and neck, basically waiting for him to race me from the roll which was already like 50-60.. so we're side by side, and im waiting, an he basicaly guns it, so im like **** it, alright here we go, and he pealed qucikly off that roll, so i caught up to him in like 2 seconds, and then pulled like 2 cars lenghths ahead of him and that was probaly like 95mph i hit and after i just smoked him i didnt even bother continuing cuz i wuda hit like over 100 on a upcoming turn ...haha but yea

i thouht it was funny cuz he was weaving all thru the tunnel being stupid and he reallly thouht he was faster, so when we got to the roll, he still tried to beat me, right wen he sped up, i had to fly by himmmm easily! haha stupid eclipses. not sure if it was turbo really, seemed pretty quick though to be honest.

 

if it was an 01. no turbo unless it is modded. there either 200 or 210 v6. someone confirm the number for me.

 

the 3g GST are 200 hp V6 but weigh over 3000 pounds the 2g 95-99 were Gs-t (FWD) and GSX(AWD) were 210hp turbo and weight less, so the guy u raced had roughly 205hp weighing in around 3300 pounds my guess

 

damn. and i thought all those eclipses were like slow lol

 

nah man those older eclispe's with the turbo could move man, only if proper stuff was done to it, they had bad crank walk causing amany people to swap motors in those things, but the 3g's are slow but nice kill

 

Impalas are some big cars. Probably not too good at manuverability.
