Angry the need 4 speed

So im on I88 sat night drivin to gameworks with my buddy and this civic pull up next to me and revs his lawn mower at me so i say ok,ill make you my bitch. Well he takes off so did i and im pulling mad style on him 90,100,105,speed gov. ##%$^&*&^**@# Just as i was spanking that import ass the damn gov. hit at 110 and fucked me all up. I have a 2.2 is there any kind of piggybacker or a place that can get rid of that?

ive heard some cars with overdrive can override the governer. you switch out of overdrive till you pass the governer then switch it back on. im not sure if this is true as i have never tried it. and to be honest i didnt hear of it from a good source. if you have a stick im positive it wont work haha.

You have a speed govener because your tires aren't rated for speeds over 110mph. If you exceed that speed your tires could shred. I wouldn't do it.

While I'm always the fan of a good street race... speeds over 100MPH should be saved for the track. A bump... pot hole... or any number of small imperfections in the road surface could spell certain disaster for you and the traffic around you.

I'd be a little miffed at a 110 speed limiter too... but that's still too fast for the streets.

my brother won't raise my limiter because he says there is too much liability... if something happens to the car and they investigate as to why a Cobalt base was going faster than 105... well, there will be questions to answer.

Damnit.
I'm still trying.

Agreed...no way with the stock brake system will these 2.2s stop in time at those speeds either should you need to stop in a hurry. If you're whipping his ass at those speeds I think your point was already proven .

Maybe because I want it to? Hmmm... maybe because i have access to legal places where I can go beyond 110?

Don't be so elitist... not all of us could afford an SS.

I think to sum this up why does any car need to be going 110mph regardless of what it is unless of course you're restricted to a dragstrip or circuit . I'm not trying to preach anything but this argument is retarded...drive your car like you want.
