So ive had the SS for a few weeks now and this kid up the street has a gutted celica GTS with cams , intake, exhaust, other stuff and claims to run 13.8s and 190whp a real tool always talking **** about how american cars are so slow and bla bla bla, normally I let this kinda thing just go but sometimes ppl need put in thier place

Last week he texted me saying that he beat a yellow SS by 5 car lengths

So after we left from shooting some pool we got on the highway and i figured he would want to play a little so we got side by side from about 45 and i pulled about 3 cars and just kinda stuck even to about 100 then i backed off and he flew by

We lined up again from about 50 i took off a little later than him and still got about 3 cars and then held even, funny thing is the car is so quiet I keep missing my shifts I hit the rev limiter almost every time because I wasnt paying attention to the tach like I should have, I really need a shift light, the stock tach seems a little behind on rpm readings

but yea no 5 cars on this SS lol, that ought to set him straight for a little while

 

nice kill! I agree with you totally, street racing everytime someone calls you out would be crazy, but sometimes some people just need to be shut up! way to go!

 

maybe the other guy in the ss wasn't racing, and your buddy up the street was being a dick hole cuz he has mods on his car

Nice kill! I have a friend like that. Except his celica is just a GT. I kicked his ass with my old car (2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS)...haven't raced him in the new car yet...waiting to break it in lol!

Im going to go with..... He might have put 5 cars or whatever on an SS, but the retard probably isnt smart enough to realize their is a SS and a SS/SC. This is off subject, but some people in the neighborhood i live in, just got a White SS and I love parking my car where they can see it and see that its SC :-)
