if you break it down to long block vs longblock block it would be more interesting... take away the forced induction system and see where the thread goes

My gains from just a tune on the LNF were about the same as a 2.8 and 60#'s on the LSJ

I am sitting at 302Hp with just a tune.

This type of thread has been done before and only led to trouble. Honestly, stop bickering which you think is better. IMO, I like the LSJ. But that's a preference. The SS/TC has better clutch and suspension. It's DI vs. EFI, Turbo vs. Blower. Apple vs. Oranges....
The LNF is a capable motor, the LSJ is a capable motor. ANY motor is a capable motor depending how you build it and how well you take care of it.

Drop it

If you think about it, it is kinda strange that the LSJ is 9.5:1 compression and then LNF is 8.9:1 compression, when the whole point of using direct injection is the ability to run higher compression to increase efficiency. Yes, I know the LNF runs higher boost numbers from the factory, but, in all honesty, there should be a larger gap between the horsepower numbers in stock form than there is.

I'm going to go out on a limb and blame the states that only have that cat-**** 91 octane fuel for this.

LNF is way more refined power adder aside. DI is ultra smooth and responsive.

LNF is 9.3:1 not 8.9:1 I believe GM kept it kinda low becasue the turbo is cabable of much higher volumes and pressures for the most part. Helps prevent detonation even a 20+ psi. I wish we had higher compression though The car is kinda sluggish when not in boost IMHO. I came from V8 cars though.

A 2.8 LSJ with 60lb injectors makes 300+ whp? I thought more like 250-260 whp.
