Cool Was this out come correct??

okay im a 2.2 with 2.4l intake mani, injen CAI, ported LSJ header, gutted LSJ DP, custom 2.5 cat back, weight reduction and B&M shift plus...I raced a Ford Focus ST? I tried googling it and all i found was the euro version, he says he bought it from a guy who ordered it through ford specially and it has a mazda swap 2.3 s engin or something stock from ford, with a ford racing exhaust and an agressive tune stock from ford.

we raced 3 times 2 digs and a 40 roll, hes stick im auto..
dig 1= he spins through gears i hook up and blow him away
dig2= we honk he lags i let off he goes, I floor it and catch him and its pretty even, i feel like i coulda reeled him in tho.
40 roll = I pull initially, he reels me in and I slowly and i mean veryy slowly pull away.

Its your choice to believe the satements here.

thanks!

Focus ST's aren't fast at all. If I'm not mistaken their hp output is still 140. There's no mazda swap 2.3 bs, it's just a shared engine like chevy shares the 2.2 with pontiacs and saturns. No agressive stock tune, the exhaust is possible tho.

Searched it, Focus ST models came with a 2.3l Duratec motor that produced 151hp/154tq stock.

an svt woulda beaten him. 170 hp stock form. I'm sure he's talking about an ST which replaced the SVT model in 05. A ST would have been more of an even race.

its possible to swap the 2.3 MS3 motor into the Focus.. i doubt he did that though. he would have murdered the OP if he did.
