One of my best buddies has a 2000 Neon with a 2004 Srt-4 Swap.
with slicks at the track he did 13.3,on his street tires he does on average 13.8 with a best of 13.6.

We will most lickely hit the track tomorrow.

i have the stage 2 plus GMPP catback.

Im not a big fan of street racing,it happens once IN a while if its worth it..i rather do a small highway run. but with the prices of tickets like tripling overhere its far from worth it.

yeah he is much faster then a stock srt-4. Well sadly,or luckily for me there was no race done yesterday.he blew his clutch and is now changing it for an atc 6 puck and light weight flywheel so its only going to be ready next friday ,we will try it then.

 

this may be a good time for you to go install a 75 shot, haha, maybe then you'll be close.

 

What does a stock srt4 run? Low 14's?

 

stock srt4s have run as quick as 13.6,
but most are very low 14s

 

I don't think God cares about who wins this race. I think God cares that you guys are being smart and taking it to the track rather than the street. Good luck! I don't like STR-4's but man are they fast.

 

so,saturday it was raining on and off,so we didnt go to the track...
but we did go for a cruise and manage to do our thing.

We did one run from 60km/h to about 160km/h. and to my suprise i pulled 2 cars on him.

then we did another run from 120km/h to 190ish km/h we stayed neck to neck for a few seconds but assoon as he put his 4th gear in he pulled 2 cars ahead and kept walking away.


also on my way back home at midnight..desert highway ,a 350z(2003 ish) pulled up beside me. from 100km/h to 150km/h i pulled 2-3cars easily on him.

cant wait to try it on the track.

i beleive im faster then my buddys srt4 on take off(1-2-3gear) because his boost is progressive,so in 1st hes only boosting something like 6psi-9psi-11psi- then like 14psi-14psi.

on the highway his car is a monster.
