purplehaze03 vs. hyundai genesis V6

Went to the grocery store tonight around 7pm, stopped at taco bell..... and on my way home im driving down the road and i see this genesis swerving through a couple cars so i down shift and pace waiting for him to line up next to me about a 40 roll, gets next to me and paces me we both get it and stay nose to nose i pull 3rd and jump a fender by 70 he was at my back bumper and we let off (traffic ahead) i get over in the slow lane he pulls up next to me puts his window down "damn that things got more power then i thought it would"
My MODS:
Hahn Ram Air Intake
ADM Cat-Less Down Pipe
Muffler Delete
Dejon BPV Spring
Terminator 2ned
Those cars are pretty fast! and not to bad looking its too bad its a hyundai......and got to love that theyre RWD!

Nice I get that from sti and evo drivers all the time, for some reason though they assume I have a stage 3 this and that untill I just pop the hood and they see like 2 boltons.

But good kill

yeah, those cars are pretty quick. i raced one a few months ago from the "infamous" 40 roll. and we were side by side until about 80-85ish we had to slow down for traffic.

what was done to it...must be a pretty good amount to keep up. you should have pulled buslengths on a stock 1

good point. A well driven stock one may be able to pull a high 13 at best but most likely just low 14's.

Though they sound pretty damn nice with the ark exhaust on them!

Though from what ive seen and read a catback and downpipe is between 15-20hp putting them pretty close to 300 at the wheels.

i just wouldnt want a v6...i mean how much potential do they have before your forced to go FI to make power. i dont see much, but then again i dont have all the facts on them. is the 2.0 better in the long run?

I test drove one the other day, a v6 gt. It had alot of power, the 6 speed was awesome. However i cant see it being a very functional car, as the backseat was horrible small (the salesman had to sit sideways) the trunk was really small, the interior seemed kinda cheap to me, but thatsw just my opinion. Preformance wise its pretty awesome tho.

im saying is it ever going to be like an ss t/c tuned? cuz im buying a new car soon, and if i cant make it as quick as a tuned tc for cheap (>2000) then its not an option.

I'll ask around but I'm pretty sure those are normal gains for that.

wow, im assuming you didnt pull more because of bad traction and you stopped at 70, my ss/sc is around 220 whp, and is very even from a 40 roll with a gen coupe v6 until 100 mph, i have raced them multiple times, they pull up top....

edit: i jsut read that he had intake, exhaust... with intake and exhaust they should still be slightly slower than a stock tc from a roll

their stock turbo maxes out at 260 whp...

LMAO that was the majority of the problem having semi bald tires and tune=not a great combination for traction, it was a quick sprint and i was pulling him spinning wheels, he just thought he would pull up and spank a cobalt
