it could happen....if the mustang was running doughnuts on the back .
i raced a 06 rouse stage 3....bad idea . i wasnt going to but he kept messing with me, i got on it in 3rd when i was alredy 2 cars infront of him. his front end goes up , he catheces up, he slows down , put on his blinker ,gets over , then proceeeds to put like 7-8 cars on me befor i even shift to 4th. i was on the throttle the whole time.

THe lowest numbers I have ever seen out of a KB cobra are 515rwhp on like 14 lbs of boost and theres some that range into the low 630's on pump gas and stock engine. 515rwhp will rape that cobalt hard and 630 the cobra could shift from 2nd to 4th and still walk it.

I did race a 5.0 mustang, but it wasnt supercharged. Different heads, cams, headers-back exhaust, and who knows what else. But i do know that he wasn't supercharged. I found out today that he could have been running nitrous but thats besides the fact.
I will say that from my run in's with mustangs, if this guy was had a kenne bell supercharger, you would not have had a chance.
The mustang that I raced, that had basically a fully built n/a motor broke his tires loose in 3rd gear from a roll.
I have also beaten tons of 5.0 mustangs, but have had just the basics done.

the ONE way i could see this happening, and i will give the OP the benefit of the doubt is if this was a low boost setup on an npi gt. Then this could possibly happen with a bad driver.

An npi GT with a KB would still be pushing out 350+rwhp. Even the shitty FRPP blower for the 96-98 GTs still put out 300-325rwhp.

ok, yes it was a Kennybell set up How I know the guy came into my job and I saw under the hood, yes it is un tuned running just six lbs of boost, no motor work so he say's. yes the race was from a roll from first gear it was about a 25mph roll. there is no way I would race a v8 heads up from a dig he's got to give me some cars before I even think about it. I'm not trying to start a war on here I just read about all these other guys running car's that are just stock and thinking they are hot stuff. I like a challange when I race. if I lose I lose, and whant I have done to mine "no bottle" just the lil things smaller pulley intake, no cat and a magnaflow muffler.
