nothing tough to figure out about autos on rooll races, you mash the gas and go.
I was commenting on what Mygoatbites had said, pertaining to the 6spds and people not knowing how to shift em. As far as you racing an auto and winning, congrats..With it being an auto, there is always that chance that he was outside of his, shifting powerband, if you will. With an auto there are certain speeds/rpm's that the car will be better suited to launch from. It might have been a slightly different story from 20 or 25, but then he may lose traction fairly bad Eh, who knows...Nice win though..

With the 3.46 gearing the GTO was dumb for going from a 30mph roll. It may downshift but it will be at the very top of 1st and will shift back into 2nd a split second later.

A race from 25mph would have been a different story.

i would still believe the kil , you pulled an aut 04 gto with a catback, thats honestly a 13.8-14.0 second car and to top it off you were rolling when you started , i definately believe the kill , but i would still pull you in MY gto

300 at the wheels should put you next to a LS2 M6 from a roll until about a 100, dig not so much with out alot of traction help. 270-280 at the wheels will net you about a 2 car loss from 40ish to a hair over a 100. How do i know? Raced japeatr in my car when I was bone stock. Just a little FYI. I would love to see your times (more like trap speeds since traction will be hard to come by) when you get to 300. Very impressive if done on the stock blower. Get some full exhaust BTW!

The EATON would be just fine even past 300hp as long as cooling increases with addition of boost.

Eatons may not be equal to a Lysholm when it comes to efficency but it is overdriving without over cooling that makes problems.
