Someone Please Explain This to Me.
It's the first thing I did on the 5 'Stangs that I owned.
That's because most of those cars back then were equipped by Ford with 3.08's (one even had 2.73's!).
What I noticed really made a difference was when I installed an Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold, Headers, and Exhaust.
Seat of the pants was QUITE noticeable.
On principle, that combo should work for ANY car ...

Sounds like a modified turbo against a stock N/A. Its just like those races where you see twin turbo Corvettes destroying Murcielagos. Always a bit of a slant to those kinds.
If that Mustang GT is a SOLID 12 second car then I'm Chuck Norris.
I just cannot believe it in my experience with mustangs which are not that fast to begin with.. With Gears, Catback and a Intake will run 12's in the 1/4 miles.. MAYBE MAYBE with the stall ..IF he is running some sort of tires in the back.. Maybe...
I just don't see it.. My .02

a auto 03 mustang with those mods, is not a 12 sec car. No where near it. I've worked on some mustangs, and you need a lot more than that to break into the 12s.
Also, go from a 40 mph roll. you will be better fit in your power band. Do not, repeat, do not go from a dig. Not against a auto with gears and a stall.

Also from a 25mph roll the stall will still flash which will make the car take off much harder than say 30-40mph.
A buddy of mine had a stock GT with a 4200stall on it and with just that and a set of MT DRs. He ran 12.9X@103mph. He ended up breaking his rearend like 2 weeks later. LOL
a stalled/tuned auto will out run a stick in the quarter every time. your infinite knowledge has failed you.
Plus the elevation in LV is 5000-6000ft thats gonna hurt anyones times.
My LT1 Camaro was stalled.. I had a 3800 stall, built tranny with shift kit, bla bla; 373's, tuned, headers, y pipe, catback, intake, a few port/polish jobs. THAT was a 12 second car..
That mustang is not.
