Well, I was in mexico coming from the drag strip and was a lil agitated that my 1st match up on a shitty track and 4th run ever on a strip was against a new tuned 5.0 so needless to say my fun ended quick. I was stuck behind a bunch of viewers from the strip pokeying along about 5-10 under the limit so I passed them. It just so happened I saw that mustang that I thought was a Terminator Cobra. He was whooping on a lot of people at the strip. I mean it was identical to one, even had the cobra wheels and body kit along with the no grill status, SVT badges all over it. I even though sometimes I heard a supercharger whine. Well, after I passed all those people and he saw those projectors and I guess he recognized me and left me in the dust so I took off after him and needless to say we did 2 roll races. I honked on both. 1st one I got the jump and by the time I was at 110 he was back a few cars. We went the 2nd time and I let him get the jump this time and still just walk right past him. I happened to look over and he looked like he was just furious. I told him to pull over somewhere and we talked. I asked what was done to his car. He said it was an 01 with a JUST built 347 stroker. Said that his fuel pump didn't like feeding it so it was going out and he was dynoed around 350. He asked what was done to mine and I just told him I'm running 100 octane in it right now and that it probably dynos somewhere around 350-360 and got nothing but good compliments from him. I just told him I thought he was a built terminator cobra and that I was going to get my ass whooped. Couldn't really say much else. Told me to meet up with him and some of his friends some time....

There's a huge thread on the SVT forums about Fobras. Half the forum hates them and the other half doesn't pay attention to them.


I used to be very annoyed by them but now the only time I care is if one shows up someplace I am and starts bragging about his "Cobra", then I just embarrass him.

No, actually that doesn't bother me, because then the come up to me talking their **** and when we race they have their entire group with video cameras and their VTEC, then I just embarrass the absolute **** out of them.

Yea, that was the way this GTI and Acura guy were doing me at the strip. Guy in the acura told me his buddy in the GTI was getting 8.6s. Turned out he was only getting 9.2s with no seats or a spare. Only cool guy out there was driving an older mustang cobra. They were telling me the track was slick but really they were just doing the one wheel wonder trying to tell me they had a LSD but if they did it was burnt up.
