apparently it was his first time ever on a bike. im kind of happy he just didn't get hurt racing his first time on a bike. no offense but racing first time ever on a bike = not good decision making.

lololol, sarcasm went over heads. So not crouching like crazy on a mid-high 11 second bike makes me a bad rider?

I've ridden for 15 years, and raced pro class motocross.

But I'll try and learn to ride sometime soon.

sarcasm > a lot of ppl. lolz

and my point, a s/c isnt added displacement for your motor. haha. "why buy a stroker kit? u could just slap this supercharger on there and put a 6.9L badge on your car" yeahhh no.

It's not adding displacement to the motor, but it's more air being pushed into the motor.

Squeaky192: good sarcasm. either way idc how you motocross or for how long. If you ride sport bikes you know how much crouching actually does. If you dont then you dont know how to ride. I can so easily feel a difference on my r6 that has race header, pipe, filter and power commander when I sit up and pin it to 100 vs when i crouch and pin it to 100. over 100 its just blantantly obvious. Id never try to go 160+ sitting straight up anyways, idk if i could even hang on at those speeds.

There's a reason they're called positive displacement blowers. Displacement = volume of a/f mixture at 1 ATM. Effective displacement of an ss/sc at 14.7psi is 4.0l if IAT2 stays at ambient and CFM is doubled (won't happen). They're called PD blowers because they maintain an n/a like torque curve while effectively increasing displacement. It works more in theory than in practice because of the limitations of most blower designs and efficiency, but there is truth behind the idea of positive displacement blowers effectively adding displacement. Anyway, nice runs. Bike hunting is always fun
