Maybe a ~280 whp decently modded Neon kinda sorta kept up with a 350whp bone stock GTO. To be honest I'd be depressed if I had to drive home in a Neon. And 33k is about 5-6k higher than what normal people pay for NEW GTO's... I payed 24k for a used one with 1200 miles.
Yep, definately would be more depressed about owning the neon than having a modded one kinda sorta keep up with me stock.

Most Stage 2 cars with bolt on's put out around 265whp.

HAHA this thread is funny. I love these wars between people because no one ever wins. Lets just face it, every car has its advantage and disadvantage. I mean, I love my SS/SC and to be honest I love SRT-4s too. Hell I even love GTOs! I'm a car guy, car guys like all types of cars. To me, I'm just glad I can own a nice car, alot of people can't have fun like were all having. Have to be honest, a 6.0 GTO with that awesome orange color would be sweet. I would automaticly spend the cash and get the Lingenfelter supercharged package. Over 500whp and 500wtorq. I can't wait to see how I run at the track next. Should be around 12.8s @ 109 or so and that would be great for a every day driver with less then 4 grand into it. Can't complain. Then one day I'll build the motor, forge everything and run a good 125 shot or so. I'm a GM guy and own a SS/SC because its very affordable for what you get. Its what I like and what I own, where would it get me being an ******* to people who don't have the same opinions as me and just cuz they own a differant car lol. Its immature.

This thread got stupid when Jered tried to make people think a cheply modded Neon kept upwith a stock GTO.
A- It didn't
B- I paid $30,000 for a GTO a 11 second SRT-4 still isn't a $30,000 GTO.
C- When he was Stage 2 alone I put 3-4 cars on him in seconds.
