Nice kill..
I remember when the SRT4 used to stomp every cobalt that seemed to come on here and tell about it. But now it's like all you see anymore are these threads about skittles getting 'trashed' by all these cobalts.

? Not at all man.. I'd expect a kill on one of those things with that TC you own. It's just crazy now with all these turbo balts and LSJs pumping out all this power.. SRT4's don't seem to have a chance unless heavily modded.

They really dont need to be heavily modded, they just need the right mods. A stage 2 SS/SC with bolt ons puts down how much power on average? A stock turbo SRT-4 with full bolt ons and a tune can put down 300whp, but usually around 280 or so, but can achieve 300whp. Most SRT-4's you run into will probably just have exhaust, intake and a BOV for sound. That right there doesnt do ****. My Brother has full bolt ons and is just waiting on his gauges and tuner, and he hopes to put down around 300whp on the stock turbo.

Let me guess, because you could hear his exhaust and a blowoff valve right? So he must be a heavily modded SRT-4.
Did you stop and talk and get his mods? If not you have no idea of his power output and hence could have been a nearly stock SRT-4.
It could have been an SRT-4 with mods thrown on it without any tuning. I see it everyday on the forums.
Regardless, good race, if it did indeed happen. I am sure the SS/TC is going to be a great car. It seems to have a very good starting point.

Say what you want man, that is your given right in this country. All to often I see threads though stating other cars were Heavily modded and I beat them. The SRT-4 isn't the end all be all of the 4 cyl world. Trust me I know. I have a lot of respect for the SS/TC actually. You can always check my other post on this forum to back that up. Rarely will I ever bash someone.
What I don't like seeing is someone saying that their car beat another car that HAD to be putting down lots of power because the exhaust was loud (that is stock) and they could hear a BOV (which we can install the MOPAR Blue Plate for like $40 which is annoying as hell).
If the race did happen, and he won, good for him. I am happy for him. I know I am happy when I race someone and kill them, by alittle or by a lot. If I loose I congratulate the other guy. Must mean they got a decent powerful car.
What I am saying is would you want me to come on here and say I completely demolished a heavily modded SS/SC because I could hear his SC (which you can hear the stock one) and because he had a fart can on the back of his car, so he must have been heavily modded and putting down like 300 whp but I beat him in my 260 whp car? Don't think so. You would be calling BS. You would be saying how do you know what mods he had? etc....
As of yet, I haven't had a single SS/SC or TC, honda, mustang, camaro, etc... try and race me since I have been back in the states. Had a slow Audi try.
