Give it time and I am sure the SS/TC will be there. I am sure it took longer than a year for the SRT-4 to get those kind of numbers
Btw, I have heard that the trifecta (sp) tune u r running is the sh*t.

LOL same here. My friend in England still has a SS/SC. S2, catback, intake, some other stuff. First when I started liking the SS. Just didn't like the SC. Thought hey should have made it turbo. And like 3 yrs later, they did.

Been frequenting the site for a couple years now and it seems that the SRT4 has been the Cobalts main (perceived) competition being a domestic and given the similarities. With the extra displacement and "moddability" it makes me happy any time I hear of (or better yet see) a Cobalt hand it to a "skittle".
The TC's real claim to fame are the handling characteristics and the lap times it can post. And while I certainly enjoy those aspects nobody (including me) is gonna give a crap what it handles like on the third honk

Yeah aviano isn't bad for a short time but give it 3-4 years and it gets old. I liked visiting my friends there. Venice was nice.
I love this answer because it is so true. You don't see many races or hear about them about how someone handed another cars ass going through the twisties. Not sure why that statement comes up after a car loses though. I guess to tryand heal the bruised ego.

there was a 05 ss/sc modded at the track around here.. gutted and alot done to it(i dont know what). It ran 150mph at like 8 something or 9 something. That would have been two years ago. All i know was he was from Alberta
I think we should end it with this last post and I believe everyone will agree!!
As of right now, the SRT-4 is the better platform and probably the better car. Main reason for that is because the SRT-4 has been out for 6 years now, and the SS/TC has been out for almost a year. Give it another year, year and a half and I think we will see some SS/TC's in the 11's on the stock turbo with slicks, or possibly even DR's. Give it another 2 years or so, and I think once somebody gets into the engine with a different head, cam and other internals, we will see more SS/TC's getting deep into the 11's, and possibly 10's, and this is keeping the car street legal. I think with all the basic bolt ons plus some DR's or slicks with a great launch I can get my SS/TC deep into the 12's, which would be great, but all it would take my Brother in his SRT-4 would be a simple turbo swap, i.e, 50 trim, Delta 55, or whatever else is out there and I would never catch him, or it would take me a few years. Stock for stock it's a great matchup, but I honestly think we should somewhat have each others back, especially against all the Foreign turbo cars and v8's. Just my .02!!

agreed. And like i said the reason that the SRT-4 is so far ahead in the after market is because MOPAR cares lol. It all comes down to the aftermarket between the two.
you're a moron. theres ones running 13.5, maybe even lower, ON STOCK EVERYTHING! with a 300hp and 320-340tq tune on all stock things you think they won't do it? get your head out of your neons ass it's not the **** of the earth sir.
HELL YEAH dude i raced a t/c last night i slowly pulled on him
My apologies i did not see this post before i posted about the drag cobalt. previous post retracted!

Yep. tune only and DRs. Not stock tires though. Boostking ran a 12.7 at 112 with just at tune and MT DRs. RevHigh18 ran 12.7 at 113 with a tune and full boltons on street tires. I need to bring mine to the track. Just gotta learn to launch Fwd.
yea u can make any car fast but saying srt ftl i own a ss/sc and my girl has an srt both stock and it gets me all day by like 3 cars and the srt stock put down 238 and 245 ft lbs stock so stock ss/tc and stock srt arent that far off but i love both cars
Sentence Structure > You
