My friend has a 03 SRT-4, when I first purchased my car after i put 1000 miles on it i had raced him to see where my car stood, 40 roll 2nd gear. He pulled about 2 lengths on me in the end. Recently got BYT tuned, raced again to see where my car is at, now I pulled about 2 lengths on him. Real happy with the car and im glad to get its first win. Just thought I'd share with you guys, next victim is a 06 cobb stage 2 STI

Yeah, mods please. Stock vs Stock you shoulda won.

 

deff should have won stock (if he was stock). The 03's had a little less power than the other years (215hp to be exact).

 

^and 03 had open diff.

youre gonna murder the sti if its only stage 2. good race against the srt4. oh the beauty of tunes!

 

Sorry totally forgot to put mods, he just got his motor rebuilt, not that it really matters, but full MPX turboback and E1 turbo from forward motion... First race he put 2 lengths on me when i was stock, and now i put 2 maybe a little over 2 lenghts on him.

SRT-4s are actually underated... From what i heard a stock 03 SRT-4 dynos close to 240whp.

 

I know they are underrated .... but the 03's made the least amount of power thats why i asked

03's dyno around 225-230 whp stock.

 

Yeah, just makin sure, lol but im def. happy with the tune and giving the SS its first victory

When I was stock I raced my brothers stage 2 sti from a 40 roll and I got yanked...hard!!!

 

Tell the owner of the STI to get a pro-tune and add a CAI.
The cobb maps are horrendous, his car will not only run better, but he will add about 20-30hp, and about 40tq

 

From a 40, my tires spun somwhat thru 2nd, and im byt tuned if u didn't already know.Yeah he said hes going to next month by efi logics.

 

Great shop, when he does get re-tuned/ intake take a vid!
If you stay with just the BYT tune I think he will take you by 1.5-2 cars...
