SS S/C vs. 07 G35 coupe

I have to wake up pretty early to get to work at my new job (FedEx). So this morning I was already on the road at 6.
Usually traffic is VERY light at this time. As was the case today.
I pulled up to a light on rt.38 (S. Jersey). What do I see pull up next to me? A brand spankin' new G35 coupe, complete with temporary tags. The guy looked like he was in his late 20s early 30s so i figured he was not interested, and was just trying to get to work. This assumption was incorrect. He launched the **** out of it and caught me way off gaurd, as I was not even in gear. I just drove normally to the next light and rolled down my window. I politely asked him if he would like to race. He said nothing, just nodded and put his window back up. The light went green and he got out about a bumper on me , I thought the launch would be good from the high hp RWD car.. chalk it up to him not being familiar with his new car i guess.. or maybe he dosent want it to break so soon .
Anyway, he stayed right where he was through first, on my shift to second he pulled out to the 1/2 car mark. In second the tables had turned and I was now ahead by 1 full car. I shifted to third and my lead widened to roughly 1 3/4 cars. He shut down. I slowed down and waited for him. He drove by very slowly (no rice fly-bys) and just shook his head no. I guess he had enough.
All in all i just wanted to share the story of one of my few street racing experiences. Perhaps I willl see another one who wants to play (hopefully with an equally good driver in it.)

Cliffs notes: Beat the stock 07 G35 by almost 2 cars, from a dig to 90mph.

They say they are capable of 13.40s stock, but I'm still not so sure of that. If I had to guess, I would say his run was equivelent of a 14.0 to my 13.7 but we never made it up to my trap speed so i cant be sure, it's just a guesstimate.
This wasn't my best run but, it was good enough to win
