ss/sc vs ss malibu

Well leaving work as i rolled up to the light i noticed an ss malibu and i was there and thought to myself should i race? well even before i came to a stop the light turned green and i just wanted to punch it since i havent been racing for a little bit well i finally slow down and he pulls up next to me, we were going about 60mph and he punches it and i pull away no problem i get going about 110 and slow down and talk to the guy from about a 40 and he says nice car and drives away. i'm inpressed with my cars performance for being stock.

i think we have as much hp as them stock, cause I dont think the 3.9 is underrated and i know our 2.0 is

Malibu SS are like 3500 lbs. They are slugs with only 240 HP at the crank (or less) compared to an SS/SC. The fourspeed slushbox doesn't help matters either.
