So, I'm just cruising in the Bullitt ('01 Mustang GT), on my way home from running some errands, and what do I see? A red SS/SC up in front of me, and an silver/gunmetal STi next to me. I had just been thinking how traffic is exceptionally heavy for a Monday night when they became aware of each other's presence and started speeding through traffic and cutting back and forth across multiple lanes at a time.

I have no idea who "won" this race of inconsiderate mental midgets, but they most certainly won 1-million retard points each from me.

Sure, it was tempting to pull up next to them and, unless they have a whole lot more done than it seemed, let them read "Mustang" off my back bumper, but swirving through heavy traffic at high speeds at the risk of innocent people's lives, isn't really my cup of tea, to say the least.

So, sorry to everyone hoping for a great racing story, turns out it's just a PSA to these idiots with more horsepower than brains. Racing through heavy traffic only shows who the bigger moron is... the one with the least regard for the safety of others. It's not "cool", and it's not worth it.

Yeah... it was ridiculous. There was a LOT of traffic. Like I said, I was JUST thinking how there was an exceptionally large amount of traffic for a Monday night when they started their "I'm a bigger moron" competition.


I only saw it from the back from a couple cars back, at least. Exhaust looked stock, but it may have been debadged.

 

Damn some people **** me off... I had this sort of thing happen to me yesterday on my way home from work. This kid in an older Trans Am GTA rode my ass for miles then continued to weave between lanes. This was peak 5pm traffic and I wasn't about to get involved.

 

Complete tool bags for sure. I hate people who try to race in traffic, or street race. Street racers are ****.

 

Hey now, I raced on the street before. Of course, it was late at night with noone else on the road so if anyone died it would be the 2 idiots driving the cars. But, hey, it happens.

 

when people ride my ass i downshift and slam the brakes. that usually gets them off of my ass. i also keep a large amount of change in the cupholders
