1. Putting the various financial aspects aside, why wouldnt someone wanna a TC over an SC as a base, (without financial factors involved). Although both are good, the T/C has an awesome suspension. but both are good cars, not being a fanboi just saying... (interior preferences too)

2. i think you are forgetting the stage 1 kit on a T/c is very conservative. It has to be if they want to keep it warrantied, so yes, its very easy for a lot of SC members out there to walk a T/C with stage 1, but they a decent amount/ small amount of the right things, to do it.

I like how this turned into TC vs SC better car convo as always!!! haha

Just remember when runnin these two siblings side by side, If one car has its warranty purposely voided (regardless of year) and the other doesn't, Its an easy call to the faster cobalt...... *USUALLY*

a 2.8 S/C car I tuned without meth made over 260whp, stock SS/TC is about 240-245....No shocker there on the outcome... Tuned car vs a stock car and you're bragging lol. Go run Term since you're in FL and then we can laugh at you in return

Powerband doesnt mean **** if you make more peak power from 4k and beyond. Just sayin.

if a turbo car made 350hp at 4,000rpms and peaked at 410 at 7k and the s/c car made 330hp at 4,000rpms and peaked 360hp at 7,000 its gonna be good bye s/c car. Lord knows no one is racing at 2,200 rpms...

Given i am at work and cant see if there are pics of a dyno you are referring to. But my point remains, you LSJ guys nuthug all over the powerband arguement even when its not valid.

Did you beat him with the WTF BBQ Tune??? Want to race me or Ryland?

Either way, nice kill Terry. Mark would pull a little on me, then I would pull a little on him, then he comes back, then I come back. BUT, this is when he had the M62..... With the TVS, I really don't think there would be much competition........... Right now.

Either way, it seems as though you had the faster car. Congrats, & good win man!

should have told him to come on here and let someone make some money on tuning him. lol

Boosted and ford got it down!

I love me some superchargers, just don't see it on 4 bangors. I do think they are very unique and a fun way to do something different tho. Would be neat to see what S/C's could of did if they had direct Injection, that would be fun.

Anyway we slice this T/c Vs S/C... OP won, good run. Who cares how the cares potential is etc etc etc, its what he has now!

We can do mod for mod.

I'm still using the factory supercharger. But the turbo car has to turn the boost down to the 15psi I'm running. I mean, its only fair, right? Lmao...

Think it would still be the same outcome, mod for mod?

ricer statement of the day there. you cant compare psi to psi. you compare mod for mod. i.e tune for tune, intake for intake, etc. a full bolt on tuned ss/sc wont beat a full bolt on tuned ss/tc. you can run the smallest pulley and put every mod available, if the ss/tc does too you still lose. put on a tvs? we can turbo swap...

Just cause your m62 would self implode or have 300* iat2s doesn't mean the turbo should cripple itself to play nice.

Stock m62 vs k04. You know the outcome.

I love how everybody is always saying the SS/TC owners are full of themselves and think they dominate the SC's, yet the only threads I ever see are by SS/SC owners talking about how they are so much better than TC's.....funny.... lol

Personally I dont care, my TC is just a fun daily driver. TC or SC, theyre both still just performance econobox's lol.

Bang for your buck is the only thing the SS/TC has over the SS/SC. As far as LNF superiority? Some of you need to get a clue because they are pretty damn close to each other at this point and time.
