SS/TC vs. 2010 camaro ss

Last night i was out riding around when i spot a new camaro. I chased him down, its a silver ss (what a beautiful machine), anywayz i used some ricer rev ups hoping i could get him to race. He doesnt so i left him alone. Then when i take a lright turn he was in the left lane he made the turn behind me. Sweet i think to myself, he guns it i was in 2nd at 35mph i pulled away.so at the next light is red while we are slowing down it turns green and he smokes the tires and pulls away. I catch him and tried a 3 honk roll race he takes off at 2 and pulls away by a half a car and shuts down. I was like old guy doesnt really kno whats going on and i dont want trouble with the law so i turn left and he follows me. HERES THE GREAT PART OF THE STORY (YES I KNO ITS LONG) WE CATCH A LIGHT NO ONE IS AROUND AND HE PUTS HIS WINDOW DOWN AND SAYS OOOO NOO AND LAUGHS. I SAID IS THAT THE 6 SPEED AND HE SAYS HELL NO ITS A 6.2L. I SAID THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED, USED LAUNCH CONTROL AND SMOKED HIM OFF THE LINE WE WENT TO 90 MPH AND I WAS AHEAD BY A HALF CAR AND HE SHUTS DOWN. I figured by him busting tires loose in 2nd that it was the six speed

Well on paper a stock 2010 Camaro SS should rape a stock cobalt SS/TC. I had a quick little chase on a 2010 camaro and he had about 3 cars on me up to 120. So not really sure what happened here.

A well tuned and bolted TC should be able to give one a run from a roll...

I raced one when I was HP Tuned (Trifecta tuned now.) and off the line he was ahead by 1 car, then by 80 I was pulling on him. By 120 I was 3-4 cars ahead, and we both shut down. This was against a new Camaro SS.

Yeah I'm just saying it like there's no downfall of the LNF beacuse it can't keep up with a 6.2L V8 while stock.

I tried to honk off @45mph next to a new GT500 the other day, the guy just looked over and laughed. We both knew how that would go.... I gave him the thumbs up and did a nice rollon burnout for him. I really really want one of those cars. Sorry Chevy.....

I don't even know what to say except maybe you raced a V6? I will give you the benfit of the doubt, do you have supporting mods and how does a HP tune compare to a Trifecta in terms of power? I could maybe see a auto SS getting pulled by a full bolt on tuned TC by 4 cars since I have not seen very good things from stock autos, but just the way you came out talking about your 5 cars on a can tune sounds like you are trying to fish for the moon in the water...

No cats/res/muffler full 3'', Hahn CAI and at the time, it was a HPTuners 22.5PSI tune. I don't know if it was an auto or not, but it was an 8cyl, and you can tell by the sound. A 6cyl camaro cannot touch a high 12sec 1/4 cobalt.

Also the trifecta tune, is a bit more powerful, and puts down much more torque, I needed a retune when I got to AZ. The HP tune was done in tampa FL.

I've only raced one and i was dead even with him and i run about 13.2 - 13.3ish in the quarter mile so i guess i could see you beating him but maybe not by four cars but anyway good kill

Race a Tuned LNF with upgraded Turbo and slicks and see what happens. The argument is stupid, all cars can be made faster. I can make a friggin miata shitstomp a Camaro SS if I wanted to. You can put a busa engine in a smart car and it will beat a ferarri. Most of the time its the driver beating the other driver, and thats what matters. All this paper racing is stupid.

The new Camaro is fast, but just because you hate LNFs doesnt mean a bolted tuned TC cant trap 113mph . Stock traps on the camaro 111mph. Put a good driver in the balt, and a dork in the Maro, and the the LNF haters can eat ****

All I meant to say is, give the LS3 the same modifactions as the LNF then re-race, to see what happens.
