SS/TC vs srt
just put it this way an s252 turbo lsj on 23psi can put down 400whp maybe alittle higher depending on the tune. so i dont see how this srt is loosing so bad to a 330whp cobalt when the srt has just as much potential and as the op stated he has all the supporting mods for the upgraded turbo.even worse when i believe srt's are lighter than us cobalts. again i dont mean to bash the balt just stating what seems to be more realistic about this race

Yeah, after watching a few more times, looking at the boost gauge and the RPMs and such. I conclude your friend is just dumb. By the time his turbo actually spools to 23psi, you're already 2 cars out on him. He needs to not do 3rd gear rolls at 55mph, and learn to brakeboost. Lastly, did you start in 2nd gear for that or 3rd? Just curious.
Lag, all it takes is to brake boost from a roll. Quick look up it seems likie the S252 is a 43-lbs min turbo. I had a Delta 44 which is a 44 lb min (.48) and I had full boost at 3200 rpm. On 22-23 psi I was trapping 94mph in the 1/8..... A 330whp SS/TC isn't hitting that.

not to bash on the cobalt because its a good kill. but i think that srt should had given more of a fight if not beat you. ive seen stock srts rev alot faster and run faster than that. even with an s252 which still isnt too laggy it should had gotten you up top. idk thats just me and my opinion. other than that good run

Poor SRT took forever to spool because his RPMs were a little low for the racethat guy is a really good friend of mine, trust me he was going all out for me. This isnt the first time weve ran with his big turbo setup. The thing moves out. Yeah i hit peak tq at 400 ft pounds at 3250 rpms, im moving the **** out on everybody.

That's still not that big of a turbo, if his "rpms were low" he was deff in the wrong gear as those see full boost at like 3.5K.
It's a good sized turbo for stock motor. These generally do not see spool that fast sir. More 3800ish. . He was not in wrong gear, 2nd gear his rpms would have been too high. He needed to break boost but this was just a fun run with 2 close friends.
I just installed a 30/30 for the owner of the srt
Keep in mind thats full boost, I'm see full spool at like 4K and about 20psi at 3800ish.
agp s256 kit, 3" exahust, wally, 750s, dsp tuned. I will be adjusting the tune bc its pretty far off.
nt05s dont really hook much better than street tires. i have them and still blow off the tires in 2nd and sometimes 3rd depending on the road and im probably only around 370wtq or so. if you making 400 wtq down low then you are definitely spinning 3rd which a problem lol...
