Yes....but you can use it as an example of what a car is at least capable of. The S2000 is a very low 14 second car in the hands of a capable driver.

he had a intake on it to but i was running it hard before the three times i raced hime without a heat exchanger so im thinking i was heat soaked and plus it was 80 degress

I agree u were probally heat soaked and the close ratio 6 speed. I take s2k from a dig all the time and all i have is GMPP cat back and A.B.M.

That sucks to have an s2000 and not even be able to drive it well enough to beat a nearly stock Cobalt.

I have an 01 AP1 S2000... ill go ahead and set it straight for u....yes from a dig they can be hard to launch.. u just have to know how to do it.. honestly u rev the car to 6k and sidestep the clutch... lol and from a 40 roll my stock s2k ran side by side wit my buddies stg2 wit bolt on 06 ss/sc wit me slightly ahead... we only ran till around 85-90 i feel that i would have pulled alil on him up top.. but who knows...and on top of that many good drivers can take a stock s2k and run high 13s.. sum as low as 13.6....

well dont forget there gears are longer than ours he might hasve actually started in 1st at 40 cause my buddy does that to get an edge he has and s2k its slow as **** but wht do i know i run spray
