OKay i know another stupid what do I need. But honestly what do you think it will turn out like? he has around a 2007 WRX STI. Hes really a douche and he not any pro driver thats for sure. All he has is a COBBtuning stage one kit, which in my opinion is a can tune. Bumps his boost up from 14.5 to 16 psi and according to their site give 40tq and 25hp extra. He just talks a bunch of **** and hates on cobalts like oh nice pos cavalier.

I basically just have a Hahn intake & catback right now but plan on hptuners soon. So how do you guys think i'll stand the way i am and what i should do? I deff plan on getting their intercooler and tubing kit along with a DP but im on the fence if i should go catless or not. Also i'm thinking about the k04+ upgrade but have heard some serging issues so idk. BUt i'll probly factor all this in with getting a 3+ clutch and lsd? Thanks guys for the input.
their dyno is showing only 254 hp and 281 tq? is that really all they have? but they do have the awd advantage on launch... He said he was making close to 300hp but i cant see how thats so..maybe flywheel..almost but im calling alota bluff.

i could be wrong... but from a roll im pretty sure you can take him lol. STI's arent really fast from a roll unless theres quite a bit done to it. if you get a tune you will beat him for sure
His numbers look respectable. Cobb's dyno is a mustang dyno. Right now with what you have, vs what he has, you would probably get beat. It wouldnt be car lengths or anything, but he would get ya.

From what I have seen at my local 1/8 mile track, most STi's I've seen have exhaust, intake and a tune and that's really about it, and they are running 8.5-8.6 in the 1/8 with ease, basically because of their AWD. With my intake and tune the best I've ran is like a 9.1, but my trap was like 84.5, and the average trap I see from most of the STi's is like 78-79mph. So in the 1/8 they get me, but in the 1/4 I think I might be able to catch up, and I also think with DR's I could cut a decent 60' I possibly beat them.
STI's put down 220awhp STOCK, with that Cobb tune he's putting down what? 250ish? maybe? heavier car, 6 speed short ass gears....TC>STI from a roll...if he cant launch the ****** (most newb STI drivers cant launch to save their life) you may edge him out from a dig if you can catch traction n he bogs
sweet ass, thanks, I'm deff going to wait till i play with hp tuners a little bit. But I'll deff hit him up from a roll, i was thinking i had a decent chance there. But after i get a few more bolt ons I'll go form a dig. I'm not ashamed of my ss/tc the least bit, specially when i paid 15k less for it compared to his STI. Never really thought about it but he NEVER drives the thing so he prob isn't real good with launches, thanks again. He was just talking like he was going to eat me n I thought it would be pretty close.
