You are a perfect example of 'the pot calling the kettle black'. Sometimes what you say is true but unfortunately you come off as a bigoted douchebag and that has absolutely no positive effect on how your message is received.

In most cases an LS2 GTO will be faster than a Cobalt SS/TC, stock for stock or mod for mod. That is a very logical and realistic conclusion that most people are capable of coming to. Your blanket statements and flame tactics appear nearly as ignorant as those you oppose.

I wouldnt say that. You've been building quite a fan club lately..... Just sick of you acting like a dick all time. Its ok for you to go around and 'burst everyones bubbles" about the cobalt (your words not mine), but as soon as someone takes a run at the calibur you turn into an idiot.
Im just saying that a lot of people here are smart enough to understand that a boletd ls2 will beat a 4cyl boosted chevy...

But it really is. Every thread u post in that Im on u try to take a stab. I am an ass to those who deserve it.

The op in this thread seriously thought that a stock SS/TC is capable of taking a modded GTO, and said: "to all the cobalt haters and GTO nutswingers" or something around those lines.

really? An ass remark for an ass statement.

I posted time slips showing a fully bolted/tuned TC would have problems taking a stock GTO at the track. The OP understands now and life goes on.

GTO humpers is what i said lol. And I still would rather drive a Cobalt TC than a GTO. If I want to go fast in a straight line I'll just take my (and my dads) 540ci 69' RS/SS Camaro to the track. I was only laying out the things that I saw from the video and made an assumption of the 2 cars. I know a lot about the TC but apparently not much about the GTO; could be because i dont like them that I dont research them much.

This is a great thread.

1. OP thought the ss/tc showed up the gto or something? got walked by 2-3 cars+.
2. SS/TC owners talk about roll races and 1/4 times against an ls2 gto (a car that traps at least 3mph higher on a regular basis).
3. SS owners whining about straight line races when in reality, probably 95% of you have never been to a track.

Seriously guys, get over it. The ss/tc got rocked in this video. That's all that needs to be said. There are faster cars out there.

1. never said the cobalt "showed up the GTO", simply stated that it appeared to start to slowly reel him in. learn to read before you speak, at least speak directly about something i said. i dont care what you say to anyone else

because of RWD + an asston of off the line torque. That 60ft was probably 1/3 of the Cobalts if not less.

you have to break this cycle. I dont like some cars, but I still research them to know what they can/cant do. I do this because there are a lot of idiots who would try to lie to make u think otherwise. Too much bullshit out there to not do the research yourself.

I'm pretty sure 95% of owners with a boosted 4 cyl are like this. I admit I said some inaccurate things because of what I didnt know. No need to knock everyone, just lay out facts and see what happens. Maybe there will be no drama homo **** involved. Everyone gets all worked up when the almighty GTO enters discussion.

see, this is good. Now you know what the GTO can do. So if u see one on the street, steer clear unless u have some serious firepower under the hood. Even I wont mess with a GTO with my current setup.
