you can say whatever you want. i enjoy reading your posts a lot of them make me laugh or have some good insight. the facts is though is if a guy says something stupid or is giving hate to another guy then 9 times out of 10 that other guy is gonna call the first guy an idiot, *******, retard, etc.
But if a good looking girl says something stupid or is giving hate then like 7 out of 10 times the guy will either say whatever and ignore it or laugh it off.

If someone is being stupid, they shouldn't get butthurt if they get called out on it, and it shouldn't matter who does the calling out plain and simple. The people who get mad for getting hate when they post something idiotic(this entire thread for example) are the real dumbasses, but then again that's just a girl's opinion. Hahaha

 

I have to be, because there are people like casionerd who think I rely on my looks and am a gold digger, which both couldn't be farther from the truth.

The reason they don't drive them on the street is because they can't. They would make it a few blocks before having to refuel? Doubt the run on pump gas too lol. They are not street cars anymore. They are trailer queens

LMAO the stupidity and butthurt in this thread cracks me up. I posted it originally to show what Oklahoma has car scene wise here. Ya its not the greatest but its better im sure than people think. Yes I know Shawn (farmtruck) Asian, Shawn with the murder nova and Chief. Shawn and Asian more so than Chief and shawn with the Nova. I'm not trying to swing on their nuts, im just tired of seeing on every forum and on FB "They don't have the fastest" Prove it and just shut up already. Yes they are that can be driven on the street. Are they extreme for a car driven on the street? Yes. But they are fast as hell. Running low 4's to low 5's in the 1/8th mile. Yes these cars do really get down on the street with out all the extra lights and not on abandon airport strips. The show is way out there with the drama. Yes Shawn, chief and countless other guys have been around the country to other tracks and street race spots.

these guys own their own personal business and make major money love it or hate it im just glad being a car enthusiast (sp) I get to see bad ass cars like these get down on the streets I see everyday. Ya Im not gonna lie it does give me a some hometown pride knowing the show is about my the scene in my hometown. The show has diffently ruffled some feathers and stirred the pot and chief with that statement in the first episode definitely helped that along. That's just how he is he loves stirring the pot.

 

It's always good to have hometown pride, but what some people need to understand is, just because you know someone who can do something, doesn't mean you can. I've only seen one episode, and it was mildly entertaining(the obvious scripting, cheesy lines, and bad acting which makes sense, killed it for me) but none the less, doesn't completely take away from seeing fast cars run.

 

oh ya the amount of money blood sweat and tears these guys have in these cars is ridiculous.

the cars themselves are admirable. but i still don't consider something running slicks, thin tires on the front, a roll cage, gutted, and running jet fuel a streetable car. it's just a race car that CAN be driven on the street if desired.

i appreciate a car more when it's fast with the full interior/ammenities and can be driven safely in the rain. not something that looks like it's made of tube steel and fiberglass.

 

All cars can be driven on a street. Driven to the street going 60mph on the highway probably not. It's a fun show to watch street racing but totally not impressed by anything. I agree with your post too. It's eh.

 

Just skimmed this again. Here are a few observations:

- rissa plays the "it's because I'm a girl" card like it's a race card. because race card. If you look at her posts, they are all short like: 'welcome' or 'nice car' or 'haha lol my z06' or something else short. It's like she's going for a post count record or something. There isn't any substance and the focus is always on her. Her longest posts over the past several weeks have been in this thread. Gee.... sounds like butthurt. Or PMS. Or yeast infection. Or something.
- Using the incorrect phrase of "could care less" is never going to end.
- Those street races look dangerous.
- The whole "we" thing being an invalid point because "you" weren't actually part of something is silly. If people couldn't call an NFL team "their" team without playing on that team, it would be a boring country. People want to belong. There's nothing wrong with using "we" when you're talking about your state vs. another state or your local NBA team vs. another NBA team or your country vs. another country in war or in the Olympics.
- People are always going to use the excuse that no one comes to shut these guys up because it's too far.... even though there's $10K on the line to make it worth the trip.
- I have to admit that I haven't watched a complete episode but it would be nice if they included people coming to town and answering the call out that has been ongoing for years.
- I know that the saggy ass in my sig isn't the best but it's the only pic of an ass next to my car that I took. That ass is nicer than 99% of the asses you'll find out there on the street IMO. I'm sure rissa's ass is nicer because she says so. Don't forget it was her who randomly brought that up. Jealous/insecure/catty much? Besides, there isn't a chick on this planet that doesn't have a little bit of hail damage on the back of their thighs. Some just have more than others.
