so the all the differences between the 911 Turbo and the carrera are a turbo and a turbo emblem? But visually everythings the same between the two? It had drilled slotted rotors and a lip kit along with the emblem. But you could definately be right. It looked like he was trying and I know that the T/C cant keep up with a 911 turbo ever. especially with the RWD vs FWD factor.

The biggest thing that tells you if it is a turbo is if it has intakes on the side behind the drivers door. I do not know how to post pictures but here is a link.

Non Turbo

Hope that helps. It is alot easier to distinguish betweem a NA model and turbo model then it is to distinguish between a turbo model and a GT2.

I actually get up to 14 through 2nd and most of third gear, 4th and 5th gear where my car craps boost all over the road.

Oh yeah, it was that turbo model. had a lip kit but no spoiler. different wheels too I think. But It could be a N/A model with that lip kit.

I love to see those things squat when they get on it. Yeah usually see a puff of smoke come out. A friend of mine has an 883WHP 993, he runs mid to low 9's at bradenton when he decides to bring it out. Same guy owns a 6 sec miata too.

It was this one!!! in red with a turbo log on the back and no spoiler. I guess it had the retractable spoiler. I am 100% certain it was someone in a carrera with a turbo logo.

more like this one.---> http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

War Stories should be changed to Stories people call BS. lol. I think Im gonna try an experiment here. lets see if any of you can figure out what it is. :P

P.S. - Is there another porsche out there that is similar to a 911 turbo, with the words "turbo" and only turbo written across the back? I might have mistaken my porsches?

Congrats Allen you win!!!

okay a 2001 911 turbo goes 0-60 in 4.2 secs new. so this is now an 8-9 year old car and who knows how well its been taken care of. also dont tuned tc's run mid 4's 0-60? so with the tc having one less person and a better driver i think it could be done. but if he was stock that is most likely bull ****

The Fit race never happened dude, really? I would make up the race about a real car and the turbo stock Fit was a legit story to you? I was looking to see if anyone was going to make an arguement for the fit since it was an assclown story. The Fit doesnt come turbo stock.

Thats assuming it was abused. it didnt look abused at all. And I am really thinking that yellow one I found on cars.com that i posted earlier is a dead ringer for what I raced, but it was red and different wheels with a turbo emblem. Also it had the skirts that the 911 turbo has, but not 911 turbo's front bumper.

Not even close. Those cars don't have 150k on them. Please tell me you are joking if you think a stock TC can hang with 8 year old turbo porsche with one extra person. Another point of TC greatness syndrome...

Like I said earlier, that 111 trap is on the poor side of what those things run. They were regularly in the teens 113-116+ pending track, driver, ect... That 111 trap is equal to a TC running a 100 trap!

Even modded no, people need to stop making it seem like a TC can take down almost everything, other wise there are going to be a bunch of monkey see monkey do people thinking the same thing.

Look, a TC is quick for what it is and a great shot at the SRT4's, but it isn't in the same catagory stock or tuned as a Viper, Turbo Porsche, Z06, Ferrari, ect....

Tyler

BTW, Arby's sounds good right now! I saw they are giving away free roast beefs tomorrow. Not sure if it is just a local DFW thing or nation wide, but since there has been alot of talk about it you might want to check it out. I could use one with arby's sauce and curly fries!
