I find this HILARIOUS how everyone's like bullshit bullshit. I was behind the wheel. Not mentioning what kind of driver I am because that's not terribly important since I'm not a professional. But anyways. I said what happened. And if I got lucky, I got lucky. That's all there is to it. I don't understand why people take these "war stories" with all their heart and take it personal. It's a story, either say nice kill or keep quiet, there's no need for negative comments. And there really isn't any reason I care to impress anyone on a forum, I won't ever meet more than 99% of you. It's a web forum, it's meant for discussion both positive and negative if you can't deal with the entire reason web forums and the internet was designed for then get off of it.

People take these war stories to heart because they've got a few minutes in their day to burn off; The internet has been around for a long time and you haven't figured that out yet?

You shouldn't get all butt hurt over a web forum because we don't believe you, you said it yourself that you won't meet 99% of us anyway. So shut up and don't post if you can't deal with the reality that nobody thinks you're badass even on the internet.

There's a reason I don't post the "cooler kills" I get in my various cars onto forums. It does take a bit of the fun out of telling the story when 85% of the stuff you read is people bashing the cars we are supposed to be supporting.

I walked a supercharged '99 saleen in my '85 mustang, the saleen was driven by my friend who owned it, so I know he was actually pushing it. but I don't expect anyone here to believe me because 1. you weren't there, and 2. the numbers don't quite add up, do they? now, this is not a forum about my mustang kills, so I'll move on...

I kind of agree that at least some people should either shut up or be nice, because all the "BS, BS, BS!" makes it not fun to post in forums. people don't post stories because they want people to think they're badass. they post stories like this because they are genuinely surprised and they hope it may be just as fun to read as it was to experience.

so the story is at least feasible. probable? no. everyday? hell no. but like someone said, anything can happen on the street. And it does.

 

Yea it is going to be a fight to the bloody death of us all, thank god and finally. Muscle cars had a serious loss through the 70s and 80s and didn't start to come back until the last few years. And now Hyundai is getting into it with their new 5.0 V-8 that is pushing like 420 to the cranks or something like that. Its going to be a no holds barred brawl of destruction. A new golden age in hot rodding and racing is emerging, maybe it will be like the late 1960s again, well with $5.00/gallon gas prices that is.

my buddie had one he was only putting down 6 psi on a procharger with headers. with headers he made 390ish i think it was but with the procharger on he made 506 at the wheels tunes. before the procharger we where always even who ever got the jump won but after the procharger he walks hard and i mean hard away
