TC vs 335i

Well, it was a quick pull from 60 twice and I look back and hes two bus lengths back at about 105 both times. He did the ricer drive-by rev to start it all off so he had it coming.

Two door 335i Coupe

you have to be careful with those cars. those and the 135's. can never tell if they are tuned until its too late. and they are nastyyy tuned. But good kill.... not knocking you but its hard to believe 2 bus lengths in a 55mph pull.

exactly!! lol! a stage 1 tune only nets them about 400hp to the crank i guess tho. so a tuned one would be a great race!

Not sure where you guys are getting your prices on tunes? The JB4 is one of the better options and we are talking $479 for, "... up to 80hp to the wheels (100hp crank) on a completely stock car..."

BMW Performance | JB3 | JB4 | BMW Chip | Juice Box | E90 Tuning | JuiceBox | BMW Performance

The entry level Vishnu procede is about $745 with about equivalent power to the JB4.

Maybe close to the numbers your talking about for Dinan, but that tune is not well liked through a large majority of the community.

1) 93 octane, tune, DP's, DP back exhaust, intercooler, intake and you are at 400 whp
2) Same as above but add meth injection and you are at the 420-430 whp range.
3) Same as #2 but add upgraded turbos and you are at 475-480whp (currently limited by stock fueling system)
4) Same as #3 but substitute race gas for the 93 octane and you are at 510 whp

Upgraded fueling is in the works from multiple vendors as well as large single turbo development. The stock motor has forged crank, pistons, and connecting rods and has held together on a one off single turbo project at 660 whp during multiple 10 second runs at Maryland International Raceway in May.

I don't know about two bus lengths but nice, you must have gotten lucky and found an untuned one because the tuned ones are FAST!

Alot of bmw guys i know say that JB tune is shitty. They say that it can cause the car to overheat and run crappy. Most of them say Dinan is the only way to go for a tune on a bmw. its not $2100, but its close enough. lol!
