you don't make excuses? that's hilarious, i'd go around and post 15 of them from quotes from you but i have better things to do then sit on a cobalt forum and hope that everyone thinks im so great cause i ran a mind blowing 12 et. omg someone call don nace we got a new competitor for him.
they put as much money into mine doing bolt ons and a tune lol. I paid a whopping 1300 for my used tvs and most of my bolts were alot less it is what it is. There two that have run faster on stock turbo one is zzp the other is cmiller. I think there is maybe one other guy that is a few tenths behind. 90% are stock turbo are in the high 12's low 13's

why because people have this mentality on here that a stock turbo tc is uber fast. I simply told the op with his setup he shouldnt have an issue and it should be a good run. Then 05 wants to run his gums off i simply stated the facts.

And i run what i do because im on a slick thats funny plenty of guys run on slicks or radials and still cant come close. Honestly id love to run your lil 252et setup as well
Trap differences between tires and slicks is a massive urban legend. The reasons for the differences aren't even clear to the people it seems to affect.

FYI, last year, i ran 114mph on street tires AND slicks, back to back. 14.2 on the streets, 12.3 on the slicks. So don't gimme that "I got a 120mph trapping car on different tires" excuse. You trap what you trap, and its apparent you trap 117-118 at best.

I know nothing about them.. Everyone there kept calling it an STI, and he had the STI emblem in his grill..

Most of the time the trap difference can be attributed to a change in tire/wheel height and gearing as a result.

some people dont understand simple physics. On my slicks that are 15's i trap 117. My 18s allow me to cross the trap with plenty of third gear left where im fighting limiter on the slicks. Some people will never understand though that gearing is definately changed
