an un-modded 04 saturn Ion that was beat to hell and had 5 people in it. peeled away from a stop light straight up onto a freeway. I went wot once in second up to the speed limit (110kph) and set the cruse. once he gained the bus and a half back and passed me, his 4 passengers gave me thumbs up, and he fliped me off!!! 
lol well i got a story. so me and my friends were sitting at a local maverick shop (hang out spot) and this guy gets out of this audi, he was a passenger and he says do u guys do any raceing here. and we laughed and sayed ya. so he said want to race for 50$. all of us were like wow this guy must have something. so my friend (wrx with sti swap) so ill just race so we all followed them up the interstate and they get ready and third honk my friend is gone lol. the guy had a v6 audi lol. so the guy was like holy **** whats done it. ooo nothing just a swap, but he made of his friends get out and race again. every time my friend hit boost just shifted and still stomped him.....IT WAS GAY LOL
f that... i race my neighbors viper all the time... you would be surprised what the TC does on the freeway to that...

Until you get to about 130mph and the Viper has the needed power to push much further much faster. I've heard that Vipers are closes races in our mid-range though. I also believe that Vipers are very difficult to drive and bog VERY easily.
I usually have some guy on his way to work in a work truck always flooring it at every red light, it pisses me off. cause once he gets ahead of you, he slows the **** down. and If I speed to get ahead of him and pass him, he will just speed up and pass me and get in front of me and slow the **** down. I cant stand that horse ****. Im never letting anyone in front of me ever again.

Sorry ls guys, bit one guy is stupid as hell he had a black ls with exhaust and tried racing me. Come on a modded ss vs a basically stock ls. Then again there was a old ass sentra from the late 80s early 90s, no exhaust intake or turbo heard, but i raced him at a 40mph roll and he walked the hell out of me. Come to find out he had a rb34 skyline motor.

not usually but sometimes when I hear tires spin I kinda instinctivly just push harder on the gas pedal for some reason. Then I realize what I'm doing and slow to the speed limit....

Some guy in a V8 ram wanted to run. We were going from a 20 mph roll off a light he said "want to run?" I said sure.
By the time I let off 3rd he was boing jets behind.

I had some girls in a turbo jetta pull up beside me at a light the other day and they were acting crazy, like dancing around in the car and listening to their music really loud. So then the light turns green and the girl floored it, I on the other hand had no idea she wanted to race so I had taken off slowly but when I put it in 2nd I floored it and easily beat her lol. I turned right at the next light and when they passed me she honked the horn and they both yelled out the window.

I have a few stupid cars rev at me occasionally and I just blip the throttle, usually it results in good amount of wheel spin.
Had a guy and girl in a Prelude call me a ricer for having:
1) a "fartcan" I have full 3" mandrel bent exhaust w/ magnaflow muffler
2) cf hood "for just looks, there's no function" It's the VIS Invader w/ the vents above the blower, it DOES function pretty well at aiding the cooling
3) a "bunch of un-needed gauges" stock boost, interceptor, wideband
His gf said his motor was bigger and had vtec, i stood no chance w/ my piece of rice...

A few years back I was driving around in my 10 sec Mustang which was by no means a subtle car. Aggressive cam and 3 inch dumps gave the car a nasty sound even at idle.
Every once in a while people in reasonably sporty cars would try and race me so I would oblige them by giving it some gas for about 3 seconds, leaving about a 30 car lead and then letting off just for their entertainment. People loved it.

I will never forget this one nissan altima driven by some young kid who came up next to me at a light and rev'd his engine at me. So I figured I would entertain him by giving him an aggresive launch from the light. So I hit the gas, and literally leave him in smoke. When i hit about 70mph, I let off the gas and coast down again with him very far behind me. Now most of the time people will just pull up next to me, give a thumbs up or something and go on their way.....but not this guy...about 10 seconds after I had let off the gas, he comes flying by me since he has obviously not let off the gas yet and keeps going.
A few minutes later, we are both at a red light again and he looks over to me and says, "I beat your ass bro!"....I am thinking to myself, "Is this guy serious?"....He then revs again and when the light goes green he floors it. I just normally drive away and after a few minutes this nissan is gone. But about 10 minutes later, I see police lights on the side of the road and what car has he pulled over? The nissan that tried to race me. Haha
So I always found that to be an amusing situation.

Ah how your point of view changes over time. Now a days I would say that any street race isn't worth it because it's not worth the tickets and it's not worth the risk. Keep it all the track were it belongs.
