My car, mods in sig, not too much done to it.

His car:
'06 Mustang GT
Short throw, long tube headers, cat back exhaust, cold air intake, new tires (yes, this is a mod)

Not gonna lie, thing sounds mean as hell. Were gonna be racing from rolls and dig, he's no stranger to how FWD cars go vs RWD's, so he opted for both when I asked.

I will prob be spanked from a dig, but probably pull from a roll. Opinions?

He's got some appearance mods as well, grill, HIDs, tint, etc., car looks nice the way it is. Def would not mind having it.

I think you will pull him from a roll.

From a roll you may keep up, maybe even pull him a little. From a dig you will more than likely lose.

Does the GT have a tune? My friends 06gt picked up 3.6mph in the 1/4 with an air intake and sct tune...I was impressed! I think you may have a tough time with the roll race as the 3v GT's respond pretty well to simple bolt-on's.

love a 4.6 with long tubes. they are well worth the expense.

His car stock will trap about what yours can now. Intake/tune adds 25+rwhp alone..

Raced my buddies 09 mustang gt from a couple slow rolls. Got him by about 2 1/2 - 3 cars around 100mph. He has a SCT tune, intake and pullies. I was shocked that he hung so well at the start. I'm gonna have to give the edge to the mustang. Hope i'm wrong and good luck.

If he is tuned, you're gonna get yanked from a dig and walked from a roll. His car is about as fast from a roll stock as yours is stage 2. He should be a solid 12 second car with 107-109 traps with his current mods.

unless you add a little 50 shot without saying anything then dont even race him. from a dig he'll get you. from a roll i say he starts pulling on you. could be alittle fun and different outcome with that 50 shot tho
