You can get blow by signs if you pop the headgasket in the right place too. I take it there wasn't any coolant/oil mayo looking stuff on the dipstick? Might want to do a compression test too, but that will obviously fail, but curious as to how bad.

KR was only 1 or none. AF was on or below 12. It ran great. I think it is those cheap GM pistions because Cam is making around 350HP to the crank. At first I thought it was a head gasket but by the sound of, it seemed like it was firing on 3 cylinders (yes I know it could sound like the with a blown head gasket). Maybe he lost compression in one cylinders is what it seems. We will see.

Yeah no signs of coolant or anything. Then he would be in ****'s creek. It was all oil when we wiped it down to clean it and drive it back home.

Yeah, the highest I saw the AFR during the run was like 11.8-11.9. Also through out the run my KR was at zero exept for a few spikes of .8-1 then back to zero. I'm pretty sure I just over powered the pistons. I mean, I had to puttin at least 320 to the wheels to be able to beat a 298 whp SRT that bad. Just a matter of time I guess...

With the other motors, what was the diagnosis? Ringland?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure its a ringland. I can't imagine why it would "hole" a piston, I wasn't running too lean and I wasn't getting any knock or very very little. **** man, this sucks monkey nuts!

You "hate GM" because you hit the rev limiter and blew your car up.. your modded car? lol

I didn't hit the rev limiter, it was the ring that caused it to pop like that. I hate GM cause they put a strong ass crank and rods, then shitty pistons!

Do you plan on at least taking the head off and taking a look anytime soon? My car did exactly the same thing as yours (sounded like it hit the limiter, shot oil, cam/wrx sound idle), but once the head was off, my pistons and cylinder walls were pristine. So I wouldn't get ahead of yourself until you actually look. Compression test would also give you a better idea.

I don't think a compression test would help anything, the compression would be really low for a blown head gasket, ring land, or a burnt valve. So I think I might just take the head off and have a looksy.

Yeah, I know. I don't want to get the diamond pistons because they are too high compression for the amount of boost I'll be makin with my twin screw swap.

Last I heard the Mahle pistons were not the proper pin size and outer diameter. That is why CPP sent them back.
