It doesn't take 30k to turbo an s2000 and beat most any cobalt. Let alone their engines can hold 500hp stock their diffs and trannys on the other hand not so much but I have respect for a s2000 especially a turbo one

 

I try to respect the s2gay guys. Hey, their sexual orientation makes no difference to me.

But They truly believe that the s2k is God's gift to motoring, and it's simply not. Nothing is.

There's a guy like that at my work. He had a stock s2000 and swears, SWEARS that it hit 12's. Stock.

Then there's the guys I ran across the other day. A dark grey s2k with 4 guys standing outside it giving me the "Wangster stare" as I drove by. I sooooo wanted to stop and challenge these assbags, but I was on my way home to "talk" to the old lady and I suppose they were too busy "talking" to each other.

4 guys and an s2000? I thought it was a 2 seater?hehe...new definition of "laptop"

 

I own a Honda. I'm not an ass. It gets my wife to work and back.

First off, I didn't say the 30K was all under the hood. I just said it's aftermarket parts list was somewhere around the 30K mark. The car was built for auto cross, so I don't think drag racing was the main focus when the car was built. Fact is, that even with that money, I watched lots of cars tromp all over it through the course. And the owner of that car was also the owner of the largest import speed shop in this city... but hey, let's just blame it on the driver.

To each their own, I guess. But I'd love to see a shootout out between two similar cars... let's say Solstice GXP with 20K of play money, and S2K with 20K of play money. Apples to apples, more or less.

Just frustrating when someone with a Honda roadster, feels that their on-street status as escalated to the point where they can **** and rag on everybody else's car. What an overpriced piece of ****.

 

Any cobra owner who is being a douche bag just go to svtperformance forums and call em out. Most of the guys over there don't like other cobra owners who pull this kind of **** just like we don't like it when cobalt owners act like douche bags. These kids need to be called out.
