friend got a 2012 wrx sti and wanted to race me. I said yeah but he didnt know how to drive standard before he got this car and hes telling me to wait until he learns how to drive it lol. all he has is a upgraded exhaust from factory and a short shifter.

 

**** will smoke us I have a friend with 12 wrx cobb tuned , full exhaust n headers and idk what else making almost 4oohp

and would be doing a 30 roll or 40 roll more than likely

he also has a honda that is turbo'd. he doesnt want to race me with it though >.< its annoying. hopefully i will get to race and record our races one day if he stops making excuses. I want to run both cars

 

My cobalt was basically staged 2 with a smaller pulley. I cant say tho, from a light I would absolutely kill my cobalt but from a roll idk. I would love to race one. The wrx's and stis are some much alike it's crazy. They do make power MUCH MUCH easier than the s/c.

 

yeah im not dumb im not gonna race a awd car from a roll in a fwd car! lol i would have a better chance at winning while going in reverse. but yeah I wanna race him and if i dont beat him then e85 and smaller pulley it is! lol

 

I killed a 2013 WRX last week. He got me from a dig but I NLS'd from 1-2nd and got him by 2ish cars. You probably have the same power as a stock LNF so from a roll it would be a good race.

 

very curious now lol. im going to ask james how aggressive my tune is. gotta rewire some stuff first though

 

From a dig you will most definitely lose, unless you are launch pro. but from a roll AWD loses its edge.

 

This is true, but AWD is MUCH more fun than fwd

 

Agreed, first time I launched my car I was stock, and it still scared the hell out of me. Pulls WAAAAYYY harder from a dig than my TC with probably 120 more tq ever did. It's a blast, and I love every minute of it.

 

Yea buddy. After owning a AWD car, i don't think i will ever buy another fwd car.

 

I would love a EVO X or a 2004-2007 STi but I dont want a higher payment. my balt is awesome to me still but I would love launch an AWD car

 

I have sleeper pro perk not launch pro lol

I never launch my car because the tranny hesitates from shifting 1-2.

there were no manuals when I was looking for a car but yeah I'm think 30 roll or 40 would be my best bet. can I out the car into high if I was in a higher gear and I slowed to 30-40?
