about tire width

who has the widest tires? i got 245/40/r18 on the back and stock on the front my question is will 245 fit on the front thanks bye the way my car is lowered 2 1/4 in the back and 2" up front thanks

I think people are having rubbing isssues 235+. Might want to go with 225s to be on the safe side, you also have to worry on the front about your speedometer working correctly, with 245's.. even if you got them to fit - I think you'd have to be so low profile to make it work that you'd barely have any tire on your wheels.

225/40s in the front and 245s in the rear if I were going that route - but I'd advise 225s all around.

Hey, post some pics man. I'd like to check out them 245 in the rear. (Dang, did that sound like a sexual harassment line??)

I have 245/35/18's waiting to go on after my stocks are done. 235's don't rub, I have those for winters
