Cobalt SS 17 inch rims (stock)
do 225/50R17's fit on the stock 17 inch rims?
the speedo diff will prob be slower than actual speed
but will they be ok? safe at least?
thanks.

a 225/50/17 is 25.9" overall diam.
yea they'll fit, 225 is the widest (so i've been told) you can fit on the stock 17's
However depending on your suspension setup you may have rubbing issues with 225/50's. i cant say for sure because i cant test it, perhaps someone else can or has already and can chime in.
I personally was going to go with 225/45's seeing as they were much closer in overall diameter to the 205/50's. But if you dont mind the speedo being off some, then go for it.
