CSS Fitment Thread VOL. Stance or GTFO
215/35 or 40 would be your best bet if you want good stretch, if you're feeling mad get a 205 but I'd be careful if your looking to corner fast on a tire that stretched. If you roll your side wall you'll be in for a rude awakening. lol
Ok I'm getting ready to join you guys but I'm a noob when it comes to this...whats cheapest/safest way to get 20-30mm on our rides? I've got an HHR but it should be the same for me. Also I've got rear drums...just throwing that out. I'd like to do it myself too if all possible to save on labor costs so I need an option that a backyard mechanic can do with little to no headache.

Oo, that looks freakin' good. Are you all the way down with your locking rings out?
lol
Sorry...I'm wanting to space it out 20-30MM to get it flush. I've seen one inch billet spacer adapters but someone said that they aren't safe to use that longer studs with the spacer would be better. Like I said, I'm a noob when it comes to this...last time I modified a car was back 2001 and it wasn't a popular trend then.

ive been wanting to do 1" hub adapters (since spacers just seem shady and the studs arent long enough)
but im not sure if i'd be rubbing or not. im dropped and considering getting koni yellows soon

Might have to grind down your stock lugs a bit so it's not bumping into the back of the wheel. I'd just do longer studs if you have the option to. A lot of people think adapters are shotty, although Randy and a few other guys are running them and haven't had problems with them.
Basic highway pulls and what not.
Just love the look of a deep concave rim and those r the best option I can find
Fronts will still b beefy.
Just gotta figure out a good front offset and tire size for an 8.5 now
Oh I know, I've been talking to him recently and he has a pretty crazy wheel setup planned. It'll definitely be interesting to watch.
You should be fine, plus you're on air. I think even a 225 or 235 would be fine unless you plan on riding squatted.
Talk to Randy, he's the go to guy about spacers/adapters.
I don't drive that aggressively, in a straight line yes but I don't do any road courses or anything

Welp, time to start looking into coating the new wheels so I can buy tires and get these damn wheels on. But I dont know anyone in the central florida area that is good with powder coating up here in Orlando. lol Any ideas?
Lower that thaang.
riceburner, if u measure where the rim/tire will sit towards the fender you will get an idea.
ur on springs so rubbing will only happen if your turning and braking hard into a corner, what size are the tires?
longer studs and spacers and u will be set

that had me rollin' once i get the rims on ill see what i can do, im thinking since there will be a slight stretch ill have room
