I would never pay that money for a plastic sunfire with a v8.

I feel like the warmer the better, obviously dont discolor the clear, but it can take some heat abuse.

the paint on these cars is junk. the closest ive gotten to not cracking is about 1 inch of cracked paint on each side and theses with the paint blistering your skin if you touch it. theres no flex in it so its only inevidable that its gunna crack.

Body panels are mostly made of carbon fiber now in the 2015. Either way I don't think anyone on a Cobalt forum should be complaining about a Corvette being plastic considering the Z06 and ZR1 whomp on most high performance luxury cars that are custom made. Not too shabby for being pumped out of Kentucky.

this, I love corvettes and if you think of how cheap they are compared to some other supercars, they are a good buy. Are there better cars? yes. I will always love corvettes though.

The case is that if all you want is a high performance two seater with a V8.
If you want a refined high performance v8, it's not the corvette.

I want a vette, even more when I got to drive a 427 for a week.

If you compare corvette to corvette, sure.
Compared to the competition, debatable.. C6 vs M3, as example. I'm sure the z06 is faster, but there's a whole nother ball game outside of that.

I was always a BMW fanboy. It wasn't recently until I could afford one.

The new Stingray was made for both the track and strip instead of the straight line only crap GM pulled with the ZR1 (although still my favorite produced Corvette yet). I'd take the new Stingray on a track and strip over any M series Bimmer right now, especially the Z06. I'm stoked to see what numbers they'll be putting down for the 2016 Zr1.

Different strokes for different folks.
It's all about the experience. C7 Z06 will probably be faster around the ring or whatever track vs the f82 M3, but they're in two different class of car.

Mark Reuss called the c7 z06 "big nasty", so I'm sure that stands for something.
